Citadelle Old Tom is a delightful elixir inspired by the gin traditions of 18th and 19th century England. Crafted from a gin aged in various wood types, we’ve added toasted cane sugar that has also been barrel-aged for an incredible richness. This tribute to Charles Dickens reflects our discovery of exceptional sugar from the Caribbean, creating a harmonious blend. “No Mistake,” as Dickens might have said had he had the pleasure of tasting our Old Tom.
On the Palate: Citadelle No Mistake Old Tom is rich and refined. It presents a sweet-bitter profile with notes of candied lemon zest, anise, and almond. The experience deepens with spicy hints of nutmeg, cinnamon, and cubeb pepper. Its remarkable finish reveals floral, spicy, and woody nuances, with accents of violet, angelica, and licorice.
