This rum has a deep and noble mahogany brown colour, incredibly dark with golden colours, superb shine, and a richness in the glass. A hypnotic aroma of roasted honey, Colombian coffee, royal toffee, dark chocolate, mature oak with a
parfait roundness. The mouth feel is extremely smooth, with fudge, flavours of parfait sweet Colombian coffee, and dark chocolate. The finish is long and complex, with light oak flavours providing the balance between strength and softness. This XO Rum is aged in high quality ex-bourbon oak barrels, ex-sherry butts from Jerez, and some port casks for 25 -35 years.
