Founded in 1502, the Domaine Imperial Hetszolo, estate previously owned by the Imperial Austro-Hungarian crown, is situated in the heart of the village of Tokaj.
It produces the most famous white wines of Hungary, the delicious Aszu, as well as the excellent varietal wines.
The Tokaj Aszu are sweet wines made from hand-picked botrytised grapes. The wines has a remarkable golden colour, an aromatic complexity (apricot, honey, walnut...) and a voluptuous and engaging palate.
These wines can be consumed either alone or with foie-gras, game, blue cheese and dessert.
The number of Puttonyos can vary from 3 to 6 (the highest being the sweetest)
Serve at 10-12 C (50-54 F)
