Powerful, uncompromising and more than a little special. The Laphroaig Batch 17 Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky offers a truly natural experience that preserves the bold and rich soul of Islay peat like no other.
Color: Glowing gold
Nose: Sweet, vibrant and smoky. A zesty expression with notes of candied apple slices, crème brûlée & sugared pastries
Palate: Initially sweet & fruity flavours are dominant, like stewed apple, vanilla cream & pears in syrup, followed by a wave of sea salt, peat and crisp seaweed.
Finish: Very long, with black pepper spice, antique, leather & a sweet grassy smoke, which fades to a tarry peat aroma.
