Royal Jamaican 12 Year Rum is pot stilled at Monymusk Distillery in parish of Clarendon, an area known for its sugar plantations. Made with Blackstrap Molasses and the finest sugar cane that Jamaica has to offer.
Jamaica has a long, rich history of producing rums that dates back to the early 1740's. Our tribute to this history is the Royal Jamaican 12 Year Old Rum, a rum that embodies molasses. The rum is distilled then aged in American White Oak Casks on the Island for 12 years, resulting in a full bodied flavour with rich silky mouth feel and an undertone of chocolate and spices.
