Details
- Tastings begin at the stated time, and doors will open 10 minutes prior.
- Tastings typically run about 90 minutes in duration.
- Most tastings are accompanied with charcuterie and light snacks.
House Rules
- Please arrange for sober transport.
- Due to regulations, additional samples cannot be provided to attendees before or after the tasting event.
- We ask that you kindly avoid the use of perfumes and fragrances on the evening of a tasting.
Cancellations
Up to 24 hours before the event, we can exchange your ticket for store credit equivalent to the ticket price. Although tickets cannot be cancelled after that period, they can be transferred at no penalty whatsoever - just email us at info@kegncork.com to advise.
Whisky tastings 'to-go'
Contact us at info@kegncork.com if you are a designated driver, or are otherwise unable to sample the whiskies on the evening of the tasting, and we may be able to arrange for a 'to-go' tasting kit to be provided for you, for the price of a ticket to the event plus a marginal fee. These must be confirmed a minimum of 3 days prior to the event.
SMWS Member Appreciation Event
On Saturday, November 15th between 1pm and 4pm, all current SMWS members in good standing are invited to join Keg n Cork in celebrating our 11th year as a Scotch Malt Whisky Society associated store. Let's kill some heels!
*Note - while we appreciate friend and spousal support, this event is only open to members.
Massolino Wine Tasting - Friday, November 21 @ 7PM
Join us as we welcome Franco Massolino to present their lovely wines of northern Italy. Massolino Winery was established in 1896 by Giovanni Massolino. Located in the Langhe area of Piedmont, they have been making great wine for four generations. Giovanni’s son Giuseppe built the winery in Serralunga d’Alba, one of the most important villages in the production of Barolo DOCG. Giovanni and his brother Renato, who shared responsibilities, acquired some of the most prestigious cru vineyard sites in Serralunga d’Alba. Franco Massolino is the fourth generation of his family to make wine in the Piedmontese village of Serralunga, but the first to train formally as an oenologist.

CHRISTMAS IN NOVEMBER IS BACK!
On Saturday, November 29th between 1-4pm, join us for our favorite event of the season. We've had customers calling for a month asking when tickets will be released. Here you go! As we began last year, $10 will go towards a charity (This year, we're supporting Parachutes for Pets Edmonton) and the remaining $20 will be put towards purchases of $20 or more. Limited to 60 tickets total.
