From the winery:
The Gadais family has been growing the melon de Bourgogne (Muscadet) grape variety for 5 generations. The pride of the domaine is the 1,4 ha Les Perrieres plot in Saint-Fiacre, the cradle of Muscadet. Old vines, all selection massale, on gneiss rock. Entirely hand-picked, wild yeast fermented and aged for 18 months in older barrels. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
