The Glenlivet 14 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is matured in bourbon and sherry casks before a portion of the liquid is finished in the highest quality ex-cognac casks for at least six months.
The luscious liquid develops its unique raisin and citrus notes through its journey from bourbon and sherry casks, to a selective finish in cognac casks. This means that our makers have finished a portion of this whisky in casks that previously held Cognac.
Nose: Fruity aroma followed by subtle spice
Taste: Succulent flavours of ripe poached pears, mandarins in syrup and chocolate-coated raisings
Finish: Incredibly smooth and luscious
