This whisky was proudly milled, mashed, fermented, distilled, aged and bottled by Wild Life Distillery, in Canmore, Alberta. Aged for a minimum of 4 years, and finished in PX Sherry Casks, this liquid gold is made to be enjoyed with friends.
Matt & Keith sourced liquid dessert (aka PX sherry Hogshead casks) from a traditional Spanish Bodega in 2023. We utilized these beautiful casks to finish a few barrels of Wild Life single malt whisky. The resulting spirit is a wonderful expression of sherry-finished whisky: chewy dried figs, chocolate covered raisins, rounded malty notes, fruit leather and soft French oak on the finish.
