On the nose, it has enormous complexity, with aromas of cherries, violets, gunpowder, smoked foods, plums, incense, raspberry, blackberry and wood, all assembled together with hints of minerals.
It changes with every swirl of the glass, always delighting. On the palate, it’s silky and very fresh, easy drinking, with pleasant, polished tannins.
